Police looking for man with 'vital information' in Slough arson investigation

Police in Slough are asking for help from the public over a suspected arson investigation.

Police have appealed for help from the public to locate a man believed to have ‘vital information’ about a suspected arson in Slough.

Firefighters evacuated ten people from a burning building in Slough High Street, two of whom needed hospital treatment, as the fire took hold at around 1.10am on June 22.

A burnt-out black Land Rover and fire damage to the building were left after the blaze, which began in Grove Parade behind High Street. Police are treating the fire as arson.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue crews from four stations were dispatched to the scene, where they spent around three hours bringing the flames under control and making the site safe.

Thames Valley Police has now issued an appeal for information on the man (pictured), who the force said may have ‘vital information’ about the case.
