Chart-topping 90s pop band Right Said Fred have been confirmed as Saturday’s early evening performers at the upcoming Long Walk Live.
Best known for anthems including I’m Too Sexy, Don’t Talk Just Kiss and Deeply Dippy, the band will bring their catalogue of hits to the event on Saturday, June 27.
Long Walk Live – A Festival of Music is a new two-day live music event set to take place across Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 on the Long Walk.
The event is being produced by the team behind the local Platinum Jubilee and Coronation celebrations.
Guests will enjoy headliner bands, individual artists and professional tribute acts, as well as local talent.
All proceeds from the event will ‘benefit the Windsor community’ through the Windsor Festival and The Prince Philip Trust Fund.
Right Said Fred, headed up by Windsor residents Richard and Fred Fairbrass, will perform ahead of Boyzlife duo Keith Duffy (Boyzone) and Brian McFadden (Westlife), who will close out the night by performing a selection of hits from the back catalogues of both boybands.
Crowds will also be treated to two tribute bands, performing earlier in the day on Saturday.
Taylor Swift tribute band So Taylor will be taking to the stage and Ed Sheeran tribute Mattmatics will also entertain crowds with some of his fan favourite hits.
In a statement, Right Said Fred, said: “Having been Berkshire residents for many years, we’re really looking forward to playing on our home turf.”

“Their music is instantly familiar, fun, and unifying — exactly the kind of energy we want to bring to Saturday night. It’s going to be a brilliant moment for everyone attending.”
Friday’s line-up will feature ‘The One and Only’ hitmaker Chesney Hawkes who will be performing classic hits.
Warming up the stage ahead of his performance will be Dua Lipa tribute DUA BEYOND and ABBA tribute act ABBA INFERNO.
A limited number of discounted tickets went on sale in December and have sold out.
The golden tickets for both Friday and Saturday nights have also sold out.
While Early Bird 1 tickets have sold out for Saturday, but festivalgoers can still purchase the limited number of Early Bird 2 tickets from £30 for adults and £15 for children.
The last discounted Early Bird 1 tickets are still available for Friday, with prices at £22.20 for adults and £7.50 for children.
Family tickets are also available for both days.
