The Great Big Bug Show to come to Maidenhead's Norden Farm

Guests will get the chance to learn more about bugs as The Great Big Bug Show comes to Norden Farm this February. 

Poet and author Simon Mole and musician Gecko will entertain guests with raps, poems and songs all about bugs.

The show, taking place at 11.30am and 2pm on Saturday, February 21, will also act as an ‘inspirational call to action to appreciate the smaller creatures’ of the world.

Mr Mole has shared stages with Kae Tempest, Michael Rosen and John Hegley, and is a National Poetry Day ambassador.

A former poet in residence of the National Literacy Trust, Mr Mole also works in schools and libraries across the country ad overseas.

Singer, storyteller and musician Gecko has previously made appearances at Latitude, Glastonbury, Bestival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and on BBC Scotland and BBC London.

He has also shared bills with the likes of Eddie Izzard, Tim Minchin, Ed Sheeran and Billy Bragg.

Tickets cost £13.50 and for under 16s are £11.50. 

A ticket for four people (family and friends) costs £45.

The age guidance for the show is four plus.
