Five people have been charged in connection with a robbery of cigarettes at a Co-Op store in Cox Green on Thursday, October 2.
Sukhdeep Singh, 41, of Clovelly Road in Hounslow was charged with one count each of failing to stop for police, driving a car without due care and attention and robbery.
Manjinder Singh, 48, of no fixed abode was charged with one count of robbery.
Charanjit Singh, 30, of no fixed abode was charged with one count of possession of an offensive weapon and robbery.
Yuvraj Singh, 33, of no fixed abode and Ranjit Singh, 40, of no fixed abode, were both charged with one count each of robbery on Friday, October 3.
All were remanded in custody at Reading Magistrates Court on Friday and are due to appear at Reading Crown Court on November 3.
The incident is in connection with a robbery at the store in which offenders with a face covering entered, threatened staff and stole cigarettes.
None of those charged are related, despite sharing a surname.
