Serving police officer stationed in Maidenhead charged with child sex offence

A serving Thames Valley Police officer stationed at Maidenhead Police Station has been charged with a sex offence in Wallingford.

PC Daniel Hunt, 32, was charged with one count of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child on October 23.

The offence occurred in Wallingford on December 14 2023.

Hunt was arrested on January 25 this year and has been suspended from duty since that date.

He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on November 29.
