Iconic vehicles from Ghostbusters and the A-Team will be on show when the Maidenhead Comic Con & Toy Fair returns this weekend.
The popular event is back at Braywick Leisure Centre again this year, after taking place for the first time at the venue last April.
A second event took place at the leisure centre in October and saw almost 2,000 people turn out and transform into their favourite characters for the day.
Organised by Striking Events, the event on Sunday will offer up hours of fun for all ages, with the Ghostbusters ECTO-1 car and Cars favourite Lightning McQueen joining the array of colourful displays.
Fans will be able to take a trip down memory lane in a Retro Gaming Zone or showcase a costume in the cosplay competition.
A hall full of more than 100 stalls selling all manner of crafty, retro and geeky merchandise will be on offer alongside free activities including lightsabre training and face painting.
The event looks to bring the fun of comic con events to local communities.
It will open at 9.30am for those with additional needs who feel a quieter event would benefit them.
From 10am the event opens for advance ticket holders and from 10.30am for on-the-day sales, with everything wrapping up at 4pm.
To arrange attendance from 9.30am, after purchasing a ticket people are asked to email markandzoe@strikingevents.com to a request to be added to the early admission list.
Advance tickets cost £10 for adults, £8 for teens and students and £5 for kids and Blue Light Card holders (all plus booking fees).
Carers and those under five can enter for free.
On the day, tickets for adults will cost £12.50, £10 for teens and students and £6 for kids and Blue Light Card holders, with carers and under fives entering for free.
Striking Event’s first Comic Con & Toy Fair show took place in summer 2022 and the fun has continued across the Midlands and the south with more than 40 events planned for 2024.
