An ‘unforgettable afternoon’ of family fun, food and entertainment is promised as Charvil Village Fete returns next month.
The popular event will offer up everything from live reptiles with Berkshire Reptile Encounters to music from local band The Side Project, between 2pm and 6pm at East Park Farm Playing Fields.
Charvil Piggott School’s choir will take centre stage as they perform at the free-to-enter community celebration.
A host of other attractions will also be available including a bouncy castle, Basil & Crew’s Mobile Farm, and yoga and karate demos from Yoga Naissa Studio and GKR Karate.
Guests are asked to bring their own yoga mat.
There will be an array of stalls to browse featuring local crafts and goods, and the Heron on the Ford will be serving up delicious treats, alongside the fully-stocked bar courtesy of Nyama Catering.
Visitors can enjoy an ice cream from Maurice’s van, and healthy smoothies and hot drinks from Ola Coffee.
The ‘ever-popular’ bottle tombola will be keeping guests busy, and fete-goers can also bring a book and exchange it for a new read at the book swap.
Prizes have been donated by a range of businesses including Lapland UK, Stanlake Park, Rejuvé Clinic, Ascot Racecourse, Chiltern Valley Winery, Scarf Giraffe, Badgemore Park, Rosie’s Chocolate and the Roald Dahl Museum.
The event is sponsored by ABS, Accord and Hicks, and supported by Davis Tate.
All proceeds from the event will go towards three charities – Camp Mohawk, My Cancer My Choices and The Cowshed.
